JOB TITLE: Field Service Technician

ENVITECH OVERVIEW:

Envitech, Inc., located in San Diego, CA,  produces air pollution control systems for particulate and gaseous emission collection based on wet scrubbing technology.  Its systems are used for the treatment of chemical and industrial wastes. A major marketing focus is bioenergy production, including gasification and waste-to-energy processing.   System components—condensers, absorbers, quenchers, Venturi scrubbers, and wet electrostatic precipitators—are also sold for non-APC applications. 

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Conducting high quality, efficient and timely startup, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Envitech systems.
  • Training and instructing customers, and internal team members, on proper installation, service/repair procedures for current and new installations and processes.
  • Consulting with other team members and/or external vendors to resolve issues related to installation and service/repair.
  • Accurately documenting, completing and reporting required information for work records and reports.
  • Continuously reviewing current processes and search for improvement methods. Recommending modifications and improvements to Envitech equipment, processes and procedures.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in engineering related subject or relevant military experience
  • 5 to 10 years field service experience

 SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency with startup of system containing instruments, fans, pumps, and plc based control systems
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and solve technical problems with innovative approaches
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

JOB TITLE: Project Manager

ENVITECH OVERVIEW: 
Envitech, Inc. www.envitechinc.com, located in San Diego, CA, produces air pollution control systems for particulate and gaseous emission collection based on wet scrubbing technology. Envitech systems are used for the treatment of medical and pathological, chemical, and industrial wastes. A major marketing focus is bioenergy production, including gasification and waste-to-energy processing. System components—condensers, absorbers, quenchers, Venturi scrubbers, and wet electrostatic precipitators—are also sold for non-APC applications.  All of our systems our designed in-house and then fabricated by a network of suppliers.  This Project Manager position will be involved with equipment orders from the initial order, through engineering, fabrication, assembly, startup, testing and customer acceptance.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all aspects of project management including: 

  • Detailed equipment design and review, including the design of process equipment and supporting structures
  • Project budgeting and scheduling
  • Vendor selection and monitoring
  • Startup, commissioning and customer training

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or MS in mechanical engineering
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of project management with budgets greater than $1MM+
  • Professional License is preferred 

SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks™, AutoCAD™, and FE analysis
  • Field work is required and previous experience is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

 JOB TITLE: Design Engineer

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design Engineering. Responsible for the mechanical design of air pollution control equipment. The work entails developing or modifying mechanical drawings, selecting system components (fans, pumps, instruments, etc.), and performing mechanical engineering calculations.
Project Engineering. Responsible for on-site installation and start-up of air pollution control systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in mechanical engineering
  • 1 to 3 years designing engineered process equipment

SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with SolidWorks
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
  • Must be organized, independent and capable of managing sub-contractors and vendors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
